Hi everyone,

 

Me and my partner are looking at  buying  a house in Swallownest, Rotherham. Is the area any good?

I've not heard anything bad about it and there's a very good chip shop near the Co-Op.

I live there, no issues, IMO a good area.

 

But like everywhere, some parts are nicer than others

My son lives in Aston, just up the hill from Swallownest and seems quite content with the area after 4 years.  Also, handy for the M1/M18 and Meadowhall if these are of interest.
