cmonkes #81 Posted January 19 Surprised it's not Roy Keane yet, I would have thought that he would be a fans favourite by now after hid dam I comments about us on Sunday 😂 Joking apart is has to be worrying now? That managers are publicly refusing the club, on the basis that they club don't want a manager...just somebody in in hotseat, whilst the owners run the club with advisors. I genuinely feel for you as it is becoming far too common sort in the modern game is this. What is the point in bringing in a knowledgeable manager with success under their belt, only to take all management and key decisions away from them? It is almost insulting! kidley #82 Posted January 19 (edited) i dont know one way or the other but, as i see it they are looking for a head coach not a Manager? C&P There is a difference between being a head coach at a football club and being the manager. ... He described the head coach position as being solely responsible for playing better so as to yield better results on the pitch. As a manager, one is required to play the players better and still run other affairs of the club.
