And The Next Wednesday Manager Is?

yet another top adviser leaves erik alonso has left, also  paul cook states hes out of the race for the managers job, sounds like no one wants to work with the big boss,

hope i am wrong, but we now have major problems on top of the obvious

The reason Cook is put isn't because he doesn't want it, he wants it longer than till the end of season. I'm past caring anyway, leave Thompson in charge for all I care.

We're as good as down anyway so I'd of thought Cook would be decent shout for league 1 anyway so not sure what the issue is with a longer contract

I think Cook would be a great appointment for the Owls, whether they stay up or go down.

He would be on a fraction of the wage that Chansiri was paying Pulis and i don't really blame him for turning a 6 month contract offer down.A bit of an insult that.

I just can't understand not getting him in. Wednesday are drinking in the last chance saloon now, there's just no time to waste but the owner seems to have lost interest, unbelievable really. It's the last roll of the dice this for this season anyway, talk about Nero fiddling whilst Rome burned.

Paul Cook doesn’t want it. He will have spoken to Tony Pulis and heard how Chansiri failed to back him up when there was trouble at mill.

I read he'd want ii but for longer than 6 month's, probably wants a 2 year deal but just looking as an outsider the job isn't the most appealing, less so if he talks to ex managers.

if we go down we are on a spending wage clause, but if we sign players on good wages now they dont count,so spend the cash, cos we cannot if we go down, unless we go for top loans, but i expect there wages count as well.id settle for roy keane,he has good contacts.

Roy Keane would be my top candidate for the owls vacancy!

Having played and managed at club and national levels with much success his vast experience would bring much needed stability.

But would RK accept the vacancy currently being run by a bunch amateurs at boardroom level? I doubt it very much, only if he had assurances if he had full control of transfer dealings etc, which has been a problem in recent years!

It's almost five weeks since chairman Chansiri fired Tony Pulis with no appointment in sight! Since taking over from Milan Mandaric the chairman has sacked numerous managers and each time has said " the next one has to be the right one". The problem is he hasn't the faintest idea who is the right one is to choose from!

Here's a quote from Chansiri the day he fired TP ..."The  performances and results have not been of the level expected since Tony Pulis was appointed. There are also OTHER ISSUES which have had a bearing on this decision". Does anyone know  what the OTHER ISSUES are by the way?

A few weeks ago there was talk of the EFL investigating SWFC, could it be finances/accounts again? If so there could be another points deduction this season!

Now we hear one of Chansiri's advisers Erik Alonso has walked out after having had a disagreement and leaving the club to be run in the hands Chansiri and his other adviser 'Mr Paxo stuffing', god help what next!

I mentioned a few weeks ago if Chansiri is still at the helm in 2/3  years time Wednesday  would be facing  the National League, i've no reason to  change my mind, Wednesday are nosediving and are in freefall  under Chansiri.

Just wonder what Milan Mandaric's thoughts are of the current  mess the club  now finds itself in!

Mr Chansiri so  lucky this lockdown is on,as loads of fans would have been down at the ground, protesting about the mess he as put our club in,No manager yet is just disgusting, with the transfer market finishing tomorrow and no signings, trying to help us stop up,why can"t he tell the fans about Thompson keeping in charge till the end of the season,as he can"t now have no chance of bringing a forgein manager,as he will have to isolate for 13 days before being allowed to work,if Mr Chansiri sends us down, then loads will stop going to watch the team,so more money lost,Why?no manager yet just shows he is useless reguarding football
