bungleboy69   98 #1 Posted November 22, 2020 Been watching various Last Night of The Proms on YouTube this evening.  I've been to the real event at the Royal Albert Hall and also a couple of times to Proms in the Park in Hyde Park, both truly fantastic. I seem to think they have similar Proms in The Park in Cardiff, Belfast and Manchester, perhaps elsewhere too.  My question is, do you think we could possibly petition the BBC for one to take place in Sheffield. Tramlines is wonderful for the city and imo, A Proms event here would add to the calender in a very good way.  The Botanical Gardens would be a great venue to start off with, and if its popular maybe move somewhere with more capacity. Any thoughts at all?...
