taxman   12 #1 Posted November 18, 2020 Brand new hotel set to open in 2023 overlooking the Peace Gardens.  I hope it will be sympathetic to the surrounding historical buildings. From the artist's impression it look OK
 Share this content via...

Resident   1,185 #8 Posted November 20, 2020 (edited) I wonder if they will be bringing the self-sustainable technology with them? Their Frankfurt hotel runs it's own Hydrogen Fuel Cell generator to power & heat the hotel. IIRC when it was announced they claimed it would save upto 600 tonnes of carbon emissions, which I believe they said was equivalant to 50,000 average cars driving 100km (62 miles)  EDIT: I was right:  http://www.energylivenews.com/2017/02/17/e-on-and-radission-blu-to-slash-emissions-overnight/ Edited November 20, 2020 by Resident Adding link
 Share this content via...

Transport statement on the planning app confirms there is no parking included in the proposals themselves, and that they will utilise existing city centre parking, potentially with special arrangements as alchresearch says.
