gene   10 #1 Posted October 22, 2020 Not sure how many poppy sellers we will see this year but you can buy online from the British legion poppy shop. I have bought a larger one to put in my window https://www.britishlegion.org.uk/?seg=XPBPPC&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIpN7fh4jI7AIVxuR3Ch2TfgV1EAAYAiAAEgKBwfD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds  Also Xmas cards too you can buy via charities' websites - https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/leukaemia-care-charity-christmas-cards https://www.bluebellwood.org/pages/shop/department/southyorksscenes?dept=southyorksscenes&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIi5WU5ojI7AIVieh3Ch1w5wumEAAYBCAAEgJEwPD_BwE  Hope no one minds me posting this but all charities are struggling.
 Share this content via...
gluedtopc   10 #2 Posted October 22, 2020 Thanks for that info. As you say, it’s been tough for Charities for ages now.
 Share this content via...
medusa   16 #3 Posted October 22, 2020 Over the last few years we haven't actually bought a poppy to wear (my partner can't wear one on his uniform and I always lose the paper ones so I bought metal jewellery a few years ago) so we just log in and make a donation instead. I don't believe that people should feel forced to wear a poppy to fit in with others' expectations and I'm happy to make a donation without wearing a bright red piece of paper to show that I've donated.
