Maybe that's not me, it's just that, I get a bit fed up dealing with inks; in my efforts to print on the cheap over the years, I've ended up with no end of ink over my fingers (and desk etc). I did have a cheap B&W laser printer once, was pretty good, fast, but the paper always came out warm and warped when printed on. Try 100grm paper? I just run off invoices on my mono so don't really care for the finer details, so it's cheapest of the cheap 80grm stuff for me.  What are you printing? Could be anything really, boarding passes, tickets, letters for friends and family, chess positions, invoices.
 Share this content via...

If wouldn't stretch to a colour one for that (unless you need colour the chess?) but a mono for £40 and some half decent paper would be my choice.
