Anyone Know How The Cyclist Is, Found Injured On Prince Of Wales Rd?

Recommended Posts

I read about this earlier in the week. The man was found by police, laying on the path under the bridge on Prince of Wales road. He had life threatening injuries.

This happened on Saturday. I thought there might have been an update on here. Hope he is okay.

I hope they catch whomever knocked them off.

I'm not surprised though - the amount of hate and vitriol hurled at cyclists on local facebook groups (and SheffieldOnline) when cycling infrastructure was introduced was absolutely shocking. Not just complaining about the lanes but saying "I'll run any I see over etc".

Under the bridge the white cycle-path line runs along the top of a slight kerb, anyone know what this is for? Not really safe if a wheel happened to catch it.

He is still in a serious but stable condition and still sedated.
