Afua Hirsch for starters because she's not had one painted in her honour. 

 

But when I read this, this morning, my thinking was the same as yours.  When Lenny Henry is next highlighting, in his opinion, the systemic & endemic racism in the UK, well we can say to him, "We've painted a post box black for you in BELFAST.  What more do you want you ungrateful *****.  All that trouble we've gone to & you're still moaning." 

Why not Dudley for starters? 

 

Really, the action smacks of corporate tokenism & wokeness & just trying to be seen to be sending a message, just in case someone asks  & accuses, "Why aren't the Royal Mail making a gesture?" Well with this they just seem to bejumping on a bandwagon, out of fear of being accused of corporate inaction.

 

What next?  A bus company painting some of their buses black just to keep up?
