Auction Sale Conveyancing Recommendation

Hi 

I'm planning to sell a property in auction and would like to hear from anyone who has done this and can recommend a good solicitor who I could use.

its a bit of a minefield so would like to benefit from anyone who has had this experience and can advise

We recently bought a property at auction. The vendors used https://www.norriewaite.co.uk/ (based down by the Cathedral)- who seemed ok, but we had little to do with them, all went through ok although the legal pack was a long time in coming over but they may out of their control. 

 

We used Warner Goodman (who are based in Southampton but location wasn't an issue for us).

Yes. On  that second point, allow enough time for your solicitor to prepare a full pack.

A bidder will be much more comfortable bidding if the pack contains full preliminary search results, for instance.

I've used Ross Ward at Taylor and Emmet for selling at an auction. Very good service indeed.

 

Don't know which auction service you'll be using but Mark Jenkinson in Sheffield are very good too, Adrian Little is very helpful.
