We currently live in S11, the rent prices are getting ridiculous, making it near impossible to save to buy. We are looking at leaving Sheffield to live in the outskirts - thinking South of Sheffield, the likes of Dronfield, Eckington, even out Chesterfield way, to the likes of Old / New Whittington. We do not know many people that live this way and many posts I have found about these places are outdated so I wanted to reach out to see if anybody has lived there or knows the areas well, is there anywhere we should avoid? Or put to the top of our list?  We have no kids and like a quiet calm life these days, so a couple of nice local pubs, low crime and dog walking spots will suit us just fine :)  Also, we are in a position to move in the coming months so if there are any landlords or you know of any landlords with property in the Dronfield area, we would love to hear from you.  Thanks in advance.
