I think West Ham put the final nail in United's coffin tonight, they'd have to more than treble their points tally in the remainder of the season to even have a chance.

They have no chance they can't score goals when it's needed....

Normally, I am a pessimist.  As a Blade, I'm an optimist.  Even given that, I'm beginning to get worried.  😟

I've just looked at the remaining fixtures for utd and the very best i can see you getting is 21 points, ( which isn't going to happen BTW) so you're down, as I've said previously.

The one saving grace for you, if you support them is that Wednesday look like they're going down as well.

Sheffield Footy eh.

Sheffield Wednesday had points deducted from the start so they already had a mountain to climb so you can understand why they could get relegated....

And sacked "Monk"...

Sheffield United didn't have points deducted they were on a level playing field same as everyone else yet still CW is still the Manager....

Absolutely beyond me.....

Why ?

CW as worked wonders as Blades boss, what did Monk do at Owls.

Having said that I think a change is on the cards.

Our time in the Premiership is nearly over.  The aim must be to reduce vastly the average age of all players

We have used too many older players. Start next season with young enthusiastic, physically good and loyal to the Blades. We need a very vocal CAPTAIN for a start

If United did get rid of CW, what would they want to replace him with?

I would suggest someone who has a history of getting the best out of players, who has a history of picking up gems from lower leagues, can produce results without spending a lot of money, has a number of promotions on his CV, has managed in the Championship and the Premiership.  Someone like.... Chris Wilder.

He'll need to sell those who want to go, and with the money received buy the best talent he can get for that, and start again.  I can think of nobody better to do that than Chris.
