pattricia 574 #1 Posted September 10, 2020 Ive had a stiff painful back for years ( mainly in the middle of the back) caused by my job as a nurse. I’ve noticed if I lay on top of my bed, and hang right over it until my fingers touch the floor, and stay in that position for awhile, that it eases my back pain. Will this help or hinder my back ? getphysical 10 #2 Posted September 16, 2020 Hi Patricia, what you're doing is fine. You're not going to do any damage just the opposite in fact. My partner has a similar problem with his back and he does the same stretch but off a bench in the gym.😊 He was shown this stretch by a physio many moons ago.
