SheffPops12 0 #1 Posted September 4, 2020 Morning, I wondered if anyone knew who owned the field behind Balmoral Care Home, between Meetinghouse Croft and Oldale Grove? https://www.google.com/maps/search/meeting+house+croft+oldale+grove/@53.3562607,-1.36615,18z The woodland was cleared for development a few years back but nothing has happened since then and it's in a bit of a state. I contacted SCC, the land was previously owned by North Homes back in the 90's but they weren't aware of who currently owns it. Thank you
 Share this content via...
sammo sparks 19 #2 Posted September 5, 2020 The land keeps getting cleared every couple of years. There is planning permission for several dwellings on this site and has been for over 20 years, but for some reason or other nothing has happened. As far as I am aware it is North homes that own it, but not sure if North homes is still in business.
 Share this content via...

Estate agents M Jenkinson collects it for them but dont know if they own the land but doubt it
 Share this content via...

There have been three unsuccessful applications for full planning permission, the latest of which was withdrawn in 2018.
 Share this content via...
