Thrifty Supermarket Pond Street

Has anyone any memories of Thrifty on Pond Street did you work there ? Do you remember anyone that worked there in the early 70`s

Didn't work there but it was one of my customers when i was a sales rep for Mcvities cakes in early 70s.

used to shop there and have a good meal at the cafe nearby before ,long lost days

There is a thread here about the shops on Pond Street, it might have some names who worked at Thrifty.
