If it’s anything like former head of SCC legal services Liz Bashforth, then we’re looking at another £300,000+ payoff . . . and that was over a decade ago.

This. If she (correctly) has to resign then she shouldn't get a penny piece.

If the council sack her then she'll inevitably leech us for every penny we've not got.
