What "lesson"?

I think Sheffield might benefit from a council with no overall control. There might need to be some constructive arguments rather than petty mud slinging.

You'd hope so. I see Peter Price stood and won again in Southey. Has anyone met Peter Price? I mean, christ. At least Jackie Drayton has finally stood down.

We can hope, though I suspect we might end up with constructive mud slinging..

I think it all depends on how the governance referendum goes.

If it passes then I think they will have to work together.

SIR Keir Starmer, a clueless, classless idiot. I'm a member of the Labour Party and have voted for the party at every election since the early 70s, but could not bring myself to support an idiot such as him.

Photographed in a wallpaper shop in a reference to Johnson, drinking pints of beer in a brewery in Hartlepool because he'd been told that was what the working class did. He is so transparent and disingenuous it's embarrassing

If you change your vote because someone buys wallpaper and drinks beer, you should take a good long look at yourself.

Well, they are probably having a bit of a think .

They are probably also looking at the calendar and thinking that things change quickly and there are three years or so to the next GE.

Johnson could easily be in jail by then.

Most likely hoping travel to Norway, Sweden and Finland once restrictions are lifted, where buses still run on time like the trains, and you can get a doctors appointmet when you call in the morning,or an operation when you need it despite covid, where new schools are built and hospitals, not patched up and made to last 40 years beyond their sell by date, with a police force that has strength in numbers, not out numbered by strength and every citizen feels safe after dark

Why is Starmer such a wet blanket? And is he really a Tory plant?

That's the only explanation why the Conservatives were so successful in the elections.

I don't know but it's clear that they weren't spending their time putting little crosses in little boxes.  Arrogant complacency springs to mind.
