The Labour Party - Part 2

I think the papers have certainly overblown it it, however Starmer would've predicted that's what they'd highlight.

Personally I don't understand the logic of his position: at a time when the consequences of energy and water privatisation, the lack of social housing, the marketisation of public services and lack of wage growth are high on people's agenda, why would he invoke her memory?

Because he thinks he can snare Tory voters as well as Labour ones.  None of Thatcher's ideas is working any more and we can all see that,  so he could well lose both.

That's the risk. Labour cannot afford to take its own voters for granted. Tories don't, so why should Labour?

Nothing new there - especially as they're bored with Ukraine and Palestine and there's nothing new to come from that royal scandal.

She’s spent the evening showing us all what we could win at the next election.

Meanwhile, the Tories are fighting like bully dogs in a sack.  It really is time that they started to do their job properly.

Johnny Mercer was the only calm and rational member of the panel last night.  The rest were just shouting.
