The graph starts in 2019, maybe Yougov see it as an issue which has grown and will continue to be relevant?

That's an excellent question, just who is he? Starmer is making John Major look exciting and dynamic. Nobody believes his working class backstory so he might as well ditch it before it makes him look stupid and while he's plodding through some very unpalatable Party stuff and people that need taking care of he needs a moment to define him. Perhaps something like a Curry?

Its these kind of sweeping generalisations that are so difficult to argue with  - no specifics,  no facts, dog whistle phrases.

Boris may something like this.......... "We are doing everthing that is humanly possible to fight (insert problem here) " "to wrestle it to the ground and give it a good kicking, just like they would have done in (insert years of you choice here) when good old British common sense was accepted by all right thinking people!".  What does this actually mean?

When a kid could get into Grammer school, and a fee paying private school for free, and fly high.

Highly unlikely to happen now. We forelock tuggers know our place. ..

I was in the same year as Starmer at Leeds Uni.

 

I don’t think that either of us had particularly privileged upbringings.

 

We did both benefit from free at the point of access higher education. I think we’ve both probably repaid that debt by now.

Not true.  Private schools near me offer free scholarships for gifted and talented (but poor) pupils.

Are we watching a future leader of the Labour Party? And possibly Future Labour Prime Minister?
