It's very pertinent. Webbe is just one that's been caught out by her own utter unsuitability to be an MP, never mind a front bench of an opposition that wasn't to be in government. Labour can't run away from this one, it's their guano sandwich and it does look as though they are eating it.

The big question is, now long is it going to take Starmer's new regime to root out and dispose of all the other bad fruit that fell from the same tree. He's certainly giving it a kick. I hope he manages it.

Has anyone heard from Richard Burgin lately?

Ooo, on that topic, look what I saw. Apparently Presidents Xi is keynoting, President Bolsonaro chairs the Modern Agriculture forum and the daughter of former President Chavez is giving a speech entitled How To Make Billions from Tractor Factory Reform In South America. Security provided by Iranian Morality Police Service.

Awaiting hysterical triggered replies 'cos GB News

Latest rumour is that Keith Vaz is lining up either himself or his daughter (if Labour do an all female selection) for the seat in the event of an election. If either Vaz don't get the nod, he's said to be prepared to run as an independent to steal votes from Labour so neither him or Labour get the seat.

That Claudia Webbe is a wrong un , isnt she

If the judge thought she was rather duplicitous, I think she needs to go.

Having aid that,  most MPs experts at telling lies.

It just those that tell lies and dont do it well that get caught out.

Would a truthfull candidate ever get elected?

Very erudite. Pretty confident that Labour is in the wilderness for a good few years yet if  responses like that represent the level of introspection inside the party. ☝️  Starmer might be on a hiding to nothing until the ragtag band of no-marks are finally ejected back into the fetid gutter slime from whence they came. That's no good for anyone sane.

Crikey, some people just don't get the hint do they?

Especially considering Corbyn was filmed at a rally supporting her, plus several other current Labour MPs supported her.

Jeremy Corbyn made a point of welcoming all his new MPs and supported all the MPs in the Labour Party.  Even those who were against him. He was also willing to work with them all, to unite the party.

Unlike Starmer who has split the party by expelling the Socialists.

New polling shows 83% of Labour members believe the party should support changing the UK's electoral system to proportional representation.

Two separate polls showing 76% and 83% in favour, that is Labour voters. Perhaps the number in favour might be fewer amonst right wing voters, but if the media were in favour, I believe it would sway 60%+ in favour of PR

Why are you quoting polls that are 2 years out of date? The link you have provided is for a report in 2019 just after Labour got hammered in the worst results in living memory. IT might be an incorrect link you have stuck up by mistake but the link you have given isnt really relevant and screams more "we lost, sorry got smashed out of the park, lets change how the result is calculated"

I know pollsters carry out polls on voting intension every month, but not on whether people supprt PR.
