Apparently an idiot was running about With a machete  in Endciffe park  today. How come it’s not mentioned on this website?

Apparently it was LAST Saturday, not today.  Unless he's at it again?

Note that 'Machete' suggests that it wasn't a machete.  I think we'd have heard more if it were true?   Plus, if you're stupid enough to start brandishing a weapon about in a public place these days, you might find yourself looking at the business end of a Glock.  Another reason why I don't think it actually happened as reported?  If someone had told the police this, a fire arms team would have been dispatched to Endcliffe Park. 

 

On a separate note, The Star are doing well.  Only seven days since the 'incident' to reporting it.

why should it be mentioned on this website? it is not as if anyone is going to check this website before venturing to the park just in case and for most it would just be historical info of little interest

Yes Sheffield Star, get your act together! Endcliffe Park is not in Broomhill and Sharrow Vale Ward it is in Ecclesall Ward. Check the Sheffield wards map out! So don't expect a Councillor that doesn't cover Ecclesall ward  to do anything about it.

Broomhill and Sharrow Vale Ward has a boundary with the Park so it's more than likely that concerned residents contacted their local councillor who would be expected to at least take up the issue.

 

Plus, I don't see mention in the article of the Councillor not doing anything about it.
