Sheffield New Internet Radio Station - Shows And Times Etc

Recommended Posts

I am starting a new internet radio station, to be running 24/7 by the end of the year. Details to follow, but I will be looking for presenters to host own shows, remote broadcasting to my server.

So if you have any ideas and already have a studio, or know the set-up for net broadcasting and have an interest, feel free to add your comments and thoughts.

Not sure of the overall format yet, but likely to be a mixed bag of styles and music, with some automation, but hopefully as much LIVE material as possible.

I am currently playing every UK singles chart on the air, 0800 to 1230, so this record breaking attempt will also be part of the station,

Hope you can find some time to play some of the great music that the current 'vintage crop' of young Sheffield/South Yorkshire bands are making,

If anyone is interested I am playing every UK hit single and chart from 1952 to the year 2000, from 0800 daily. Going for some kind of world record, no pun intended.

As memory serves the very first one was an Al Martino song.

I don’t mean I remember it at the time lol.

yes, Here in my heart was the song. Not one of my favourites but a big honour to have been the first number one
