Well it's only like ITV showing all the Bond films again, week in, week out son that they'll end up with 'Spectre' as their New Year's Eve big film.

There has been lots of Christmas films released in summer, or different times of the year.
many classics!

Holiday Inn for example, was released at the start of August 1942

Miracle on 34th Street, was released at the start of June, in 1947

Lady and the Tramp (ok, a 'loose' xmas movie, but still) was Mid June 1955

The Apartment - June 1960
Trading Places - June 1983
Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence - September 1983
Gremlins - June 1984
Batman Returns (yes, it's an xmas movie ;)) - June 1992
Eyes Wide Shut - July 1999

Any ways, you get my point :D
