Grappler 12 #1 Posted July 11, 2020 Well we managed a great comeback in the away leg, hoping to go one better and win today. No easy games in this league but our "pre-lockdown" form seems to be coming back, fingers crossed.
 Share this content via...
echo beach 587 #2 Posted July 11, 2020 (edited) 1-0 to the Blades and the first Premiership goal for McGoldrick. Up to 6th.. Can we halt the season now please? Now 2-0. Can this get any better? Oh but wait it's only half time! Well, it did get better and ended 3-0. Best result of the season, so far. echo Edited July 11, 2020 by echo beach
 Share this content via...
Mister Gee 823 #3 Posted July 11, 2020 Super, super Blades, super Sheff United. Gu on you red and white wizards.
 Share this content via...
prince al 170 #4 Posted July 11, 2020 Well done Blades, you made millionaires Chelsea look ordinary. Disappointed by some of the commentators not giving Blades players enough credit, “journey men players”. Absolute tosh, good players! wearysmith 141 #7 Posted July 11, 2020 The Moose will not sleep tonight after that miss. McGoldrick, on the other hand, will 🙂
 Share this content via...
Baron99 795 #8 Posted July 11, 2020 (edited) Chuffed for McGoldrick. McBurnie, (who I've been critical for most of the season), has put another shift in. The icing on the cake in the last few games would be to see Sharp get a couple to take him to 100 goals for the Blades. Today's stats, Chelsea, 74% possession, 4 shots on target, same as the Blades, yet we end up with 3 goals. Clearly it's what you do with the ball when you do have it. Quote from Lampard from BBC website; "They were better than us physically, in the mind and with the ball. So you lose the game. They were stronger than us. You feel and hear every noise and all I could hear was Sheffield United voices. They are a good team. If you come here and perform below par this is what will happen.". He doesn't have a great record against Wilder does he? Well done Wilder AND Knill. Maybe the pundits will now admit that not everyone of the 'big boys' are having an off day when they play us? Note to Blades. Get a double bid in for Norwich's Pukki & Hernández. Edited July 11, 2020 by Baron99
 Share this content via...
Ridgewalk 101 #9 Posted July 11, 2020 Aside from Mousset, who I believe is still probably our best striker, always looks like he's capable, speed and ability with the ball, CWAK, seem to prefer British and Irish lads, not sure Pukki and Hernandez would fit with the laddish ethos of the club. Forgot about Berge who is going to be immense next season. Osborne is giving Wilder a headache given our best player is not currently in the team. just need Luke Freeman to get a run of games otherwise he'll probably be on his way. Has to be unluckiest player at the club, seems a nice bloke as well
 Share this content via...

Osborn has come in and been excellent, wouldn't drop him for Fleck atm, his workrate is tremendous. Its a pity that this team has to be the best in years, yet we can't go and watch them! Agreed, still basking in the glory of great wins in last two weeks. What's not to like. Not the same as being there with your mates though Thé team always looks better with an in form Didzy in it
 Share this content via...
Grappler 12 #12 Posted July 12, 2020 What a performance. The pride of Sheffield showing Chelsea how to play football. If Chris Wilder and Alan Knill are allowed to build on the foundations they have already put in place, we could be in for an incredible run. Up The Blades.
