The Conservative Party - Part Two.

The knives are out!

Alan Duncan, Johnson's Deputy when he was Foreign Secretary, has published his political memoirs. Here's his estimation of his former colleagues:

Mr Johnson – ‘disloyal. He is an international stain on our reputation, a selfish, ill-disciplined, shambolic, shameless clot’;
Priti Patel – ‘a nothing person, a complete and utter nightmare, the Wicked Witch of Witham’;
Theresa May – ‘a frightened rabbit, a cardboard cut-out, her social skills are sub-zero’;
Michael Gove – ‘an unctuous freak, a whacky weirdo’;
David Cameron – ‘too glib and (made) too many appointments from close associates’;
Philip Hammond – ‘Spock-like trampler over anyone else’s sensitivities, no feeling for the poor’;
Ex-Tory chairman Eric Pickles – ‘FLP (Fat Lump Pickles) might get into an (airline) economy seat – he’d never get out’;
Labour’s Emily Thornberry – ‘graceless frump’;
Former defence minister Tobias Ellwood – ‘childish twit’;
Dowager Duchess of Rutland – ‘haughty old boot’.

It's hardly a surprise that Alan Duncan isn't writing nice things about Boris.  Alan Duncan is a bitter Remainer who bad mouthed Boris in 2016 after the EU referendum result.  The Tory party like the other parties had Remainers who didn't respect the EU referendum result.  The simple truth is Alan Duncan is a bitter loser while Boris Johnson is a serial election winner who not only got Brexit done but ensured the Tories remained in Government after he replaced Theresa May as Prime Minister.

He’s also a serial liar, philanderer and full weight wrong un.

All what I care is he got Brexit done , prevented Corbyn from ever being Prime Minister and ensured the Tories remained in power with a big majority until at least 2023.

Boris hasn't got Brexit done. It won't be done until the Northern Ireland protocol is fully implemented and the checks agreed as part of that protocol are fully implemented. The UK government is currently unilaterally extending how long it wants to delay implementing them.

If Brexit was a freight train, Boris would have announced it had passed once the locomotive had gone by - ignoring the 40 wagons and a brake van following it.

Brexit was done on 31st January last year (2020)  thanks to a Tory Government with a big majority won by Boris.. You're confused because any issues now are about the UK's post Brexit trading relationship with the EU.  After Brexit was completed the UK became a true sovereign nation again meaning the UK Government can make unilateral decisions that it chooses fit for the best interest of the country.

Boris claiming something has been completed doesn't make it so.

As a true sovereign nation the UK joined the EEC, voted for the single market, later chose to leave the EU and as part of the latter entered into a legally binding international agreement with the EU for the border arrangements between the EU (including the Republic of Ireland), Northern Ireland and Great Britain.

Without a solution to the EU/NI/GB border issue, Brexit can not be complete. As a true sovereign nation, the UK doesn't get to unilaterally decide on international issues any more than any other country does.

As a leave voter I'm very happy Brexit has been done. It's a historic fact that Brexit was completed on 31st January 2020.  You're wasting your time trying to rewrite history.

The electorate bought a Tory first class single train ticket  on the 12th December 2019 for the UK to leave the EU.  The journey was completed at 11.00pm on 31st January 2020 when the Brexit train left the station on a way one trip out of the EU.

I'd rather Brexit be fully completed - including the difficult bits. Until the new EU/NI/GB border arrangements are fully in place British companies can't adapt to the new normal and get on with making money. The government's failure to sort this issue means those businesses are going to continue to face uncertainty and additional costs.

The electorate might have bought the Tories a first class Brexit train ticket but the Brexit elite never had any intention of providing a first class experience to anyone but themselves.

If he shot someone on Oxford Street would you still vote for him?

Look at this man, he doesn't care that the leader of his party is a serial liar. That's a total disgrace, these Tories don't seem to have any moral compass at all.
