The Conservative Party - Part Two.

It will be  funny if the next time we see Boris and Rishi sitting next to each other in the Commons.

I wonder what they will say to each other?  I suppose Boris could  say to Rishi, what a fine mess you created,  and were did it get you? sat next to  me on the backbenches.

In the first round of the MP votes Elizabeth Truss came third in a field of eight. Sunak came top with only 88 votes which equates to about 25% of votes.  There is no doubt if it have been up to the MPs to decide the Tory party leader after the fifth ballot in which Penny Mordaunt was eliminated Elizabeth Truss would have gained more support than Sunak and won the contest.  This is far different to the situation when Corbyn was only put on the Labour leadership ballot paper by MPs in order to create a contest.

Nobody wants her.

Not her MPs.

Not her party members.

Not the country.

Congratulations on electing the next “worst Prime Minister ever”.

Four in a row. Impressive.

At least give her the chance to do something before writing her off.

Don't be like the other "Anything Blue is crap" brigade.

We've seen her track record as a minister and also noted the promises she made during the leadership election. It's not "Anything Blue is crap".

The same can be said for any of our 'good' prime minister's.

They all make promises they have no intention of keeping. It's not something that the Tories are only guilty of.

I’ll give her the chance to change my mind, but so far, I’m distinctly underwhelmed.

I’m not alone.

So just out of interest, what would you have liked to seen from her to win you over?

They all have track records too. Some have ones that inspire confidence, or at least indifference. Truss's track record doesn't.
