Over15 million British people voted to take Britain out of the EU.  It was those 15 million plus individuals who made the democratic choice to take Britain out of the EU.  Boris implemented the democratic choice the British people made.

Further to the present reasons for the Prime Minister to ensign is the issue of the  border in the sea between  Britain and N. Ireland which was created after we left the EU.

This topic is being brought to the fore again.

Putin wanted brexit because he knew it would weaken both the UK and the EU.

Then there's the small matter of the Intelligence and Security Committee's Russia report

Quote

The British government and intelligence agencies failed to conduct any proper assessment of Kremlin attempts to interfere with the 2016 Brexit referendum, according to the long-delayed Russia report.

The damning conclusion is contained within the 50-page document from parliament’s intelligence and security committee, which said ministers in effect turned a blind eye to allegations of Russian disruption.

It said the government “had not seen or sought evidence of successful interference in UK democratic processes” at the time, and it made clear that no serious effort was made to do so.

“The report reveals that no one in government knew if Russia interfered in or sought to influence the referendum because they did not want to know,” said Stewart Hosie, a Scottish National party MP who sits on the cross-party committee.

My bold.

I doubt it as well.  I have to laugh at the other thread running on SF at the moment of who should replace Johnson?

I didn't know there was a vacancy?

Johnson is linking up with strategist Lynton Crosby again, so it looks as though he's up for a fight?

There's a vacancy alright. Johnson's entire moral compass is absent.

There is a vacancy for a trustworthy and competent PM.

Surely that isn't too much to ask for

Putin didn't get a say in the  democratic choice the British people made because he wasn't on the electoral role and still isn't.

That doesn't mean he didn't welcome the result or try to influence how people voted.

Maybe you find it irrelevant but it could very well be the straw that breaks the camel's back with it being revisited at this current time.

The Zac Goldsmith mayoral campaign deserved to fail because it was a negative campaign unlike the successful positive campaigns in which Boris was involved.

It didn’t turn out bad for old Zac though, Johnson gave him a life peerage in the House of Lords after he lost his parliamentary seat due to the democratic choice of his constituents.

Johnson, Gove...levelling up?

Ha, ha, ha ha...

They have a plan.  Recycle old money.

Key question: Do they tell the truth?

How naive you are showing yourself to be.

Putin has as much influence of the British electorate as Boris without Cummings has - one knows how to influence the electorate and buy votes, the other knows how to party and lose votes.

Boris is a washed up has been only good for breaking his own laws, making racist remarks and being a sexist bully - very similar to Putin, but without Putin's power.

For instance - levelling up???? No money, no plans and no futures - but you still expect the people of South Yorkshire to support him?

Get real.

What has he ever done for us?

Nothing, zippo, zilch, nada.,.. or can you provide some facts to refute this?

p.s. note the word facts... Brexit has still not proven any value...

Over to you Westie... waiting... waiting...

So what does that prove - being a sexist lapdog who sides with Boris pays off...?

No integrity, no moral fibre, no future...

Boris won't go for a vote of no confidence because he knows the country has no confidence in him...

Boris out now!

Up for a fight with whom? Sunak? Truss? Any of the others who fancy their chances? Opposition to Johnson is by no means only external to the party. Given the reports of the recent wining and dining of backbench Tory MPs by senior figures in the government the knives are, if not quite out yet, certainly well and truly honed.

Some people have been saying that , from the day he took the job . And still ......

How many Tory MPs had announced they'd sent letters to the 1922 committee back then?
