supermarkets are only missing "some" food lol

If they are missing “some” food, then they are missing food.

Every claim that I made is correct.

But thanks for the lol. My local. Waitrose still has lobster btw.

Sometimes they will not sell anything and will lose out, at other times it seems like the only pruduct in stock is a branded high value; overall the stores will make less profits, so we all lose out.

Correct.

Supermarkets without food.  Industries shutting down because they can’t afford the energy they need. A health service in serious crisis. A set of hapless goons in cabinet, only there for ideological reasons. A racist, sexist, philandering liar in number 10.

What a time to be alive.

I could easily add to the list (eg inflation rocketing, cost of living rising etc) but  nobody's listening....

40 years of Conservative led 'free market economics' (neoliberalism) is coming home to roost.

Well said Sibon.  Some need to wake up and smell the coffee...that's if the shops still have any.

You need to as well then you might get to work the quote tool correctly and display the correct poster to the anti Tory comments that Mister Sibon makes.

Which of my comments were incorrect?

And you could add the consequences of an eighteen months pandemic which the anti Tory mob seem to forget about when making their anti Tory comments hugely exaggerating any allege problems.

Certainly the Pandemic has added to the misery, but let's not forget it was made considerably worse by:-

a) The relentless running down of the health service over years and years of Tory cuts.

b) Lack of planning and preparation advised to all governments by the WHO in good time, but ignored by the Tory government.

c) Total and utter unprepared Tory misrule, especially in the early days of the pandemic in spite of the warnings, by Tories more concerned with dishing out contracts to mates.

d) The subsequent fallout of all the above, leading to one of the highest death rates in the world.

e) The subsequent size of the  debt from all of the above exacerbated by excessive deaths, and total Tory  dither and mismanagement.

You have omitted the second wave of covid deaths. The government failed to heed the advice of scientists towards the end of last Summer and accepted  a rising trend of case numbers which meant that tens of thousands died unnecessarily and we also had a very harsh lockdown come December when we could have had some/ our choice of more moderate measures starting August or September.

You comments are a huge exaggeration of the situation and your  comments about members of the Tory government and the Prime Minister are your own personal anti Tory and anti Boris bias opinion.

They aren’t, you know.

They are all true.

Johnson is presiding over the Tory equivalent of the Callaghan government. It’s going to get worse too. Much worse.

Too true Sibon... fuel shortages kicking in now, owing to shortage of tanker drivers.   Still, we got Brexit done.  And now we're well and truly done.

You missed Johnson being on holiday at the start and missing the COBRA meetings.
