I remember there being a lockdown that started in March 2020 and another lockdown that started just before Christmas in 2020 which extended into 2021.

I did note from Patrick Vallance's evidence yesterday that he said the Government had not consulted him regarding the 'eat out to help out' scheme. 

This contradicts the Government messaging at the time which was that they were "following the science at the time"

All these alleged comments are being taken out of context.  There were private discussions in which they had to guess how many people would die if they did not have more lockdowns.  Each year thousands of people die of flu which could be reduced if there were lockdowns during the flu season. However, the numbers who die of flu is accepted.
