Is this the same Gordon Brown that claimed over £114,000 from the PDCA last year and is another who likes to moan by proxy on behalf of the "poor people"....:rolleyes:

What's that got to do with the Tory party neglecting their posts in time of crisis.

Refusing to make plans for the change over and  come up with some semblance of a strategy to cope with what looks like being the worst winter in a very long time is nothing short of a disgrace. It's like a rerun of the start of the Covid pandemic when we were woefully unprepared.  With a government like this is it any wonder we're in such a mess

The whole World is in a mess at the moment at that's not the fault of our government.

And I second that.   There was something on the news that there are now more active conflicts in the world than at any time since 1945.

Whilst the whole world is suffering various crisis that is not the fault of our government, it is the fault of our leadership that decisions were were taken for purely self aggrandisement reasons and not for the benefit of the people.  It is the fault of the Tory party that they put a man in in charge who was ( in my opinion)  lied, was manipulative, and cared only for his own ego.

Boris Johnson would never have been appointed leader of the Tory party and prime minister if it wasn't for the actions of the rogue parliament supported by the rogue speaker who blocked the implementation of Brexit which is the electorate's democratic choice.

He was a rogue Prime Minister.

He demeaned his office.

He’s a failure.

I'm going to take that lack of rebuttal  and yawn as capitulation because you can't argue with people who are 100% correct.

Meanwhile we have a country in a terrible mess.

It's time for a real coalition of all the parties and all the talents. This is a real emergency.

Neoliberalism = winner takes all.

All this has been predicted by 'conspiracy theorists .' Not for the the first time it's  coming worryingly true.

Capitalism without Socialism always ends in Fascism.

Nothing as that was not in the post. The fact is we don't know who the next PM will be so making plans with either Sumak or Truss wont work and COBRA meeting are generally for national emergencies or disruption so no reason to have any.

What I was actually referring to was that a multimillionaire, who claimed £114,000 from the PDCA, is then complaining by proxy on behalf of the "poor".
