If it was untrue, they’d have vanished into the ether just like the Times article. No, by definition an allegation is a claim without proof, to be true it needs to be proven. Just because there are a series of articles in UK newspapers making the same allegation that does not make it true either as again they are just allegations. Lots of people may suggest evidence exists but until that evidence comes to light there are still just allegations as they have not been proven. It is really a very simple concept to understand. In your view, how does it become proven?
 Share this content via...

There are a series of journalists who are happy to be on record stating that this is true and that they have been told by direct witnesses that this is true. Simon Walters and Pippa Crerrar are amongst those journalists, both well respected writers. The BBC are also happy to have the story on their website. I’m sure that you are not naïve enough to expect these journalists to reveal their sources. I’m also sure that you understand the significance of the PM’s evasion on this subject. It is certainly walking and quacking like a duck.
 Share this content via...

steved32 55 #5923 Posted June 25, 2022 Boris Johnson wanted £150,000 treehouse at Chequers, say reports Good to see our PM has empathy with the plight of millions of the "Briddish peepoo." Wonder who he planned to tap up for that? Aaah...I should have read the article first!!! If he serves a full third term then he will have been Prime Minister longer than the late great Margaret Thatcher. He might be thinking about that.
