"The UK's top civil servant has stepped aside from his role leading an inquiry into Downing Street lockdown parties, after it emerged an event was held in his own office."

Who appointed him?

Tells us all we need to know.

Bumbler Boris will try anything, but he doesn't understand...

... anything.

I was clearly wrong thinking all you have to offer is diatribe.

You are clearly overflowing with class envy as well.  The politics of envy - almost invariably the root of socialist emotion and resentment.

There's nothing in that quote on that abridged quote from me in #3905 about Boris Johnson that isn't true.

No class envy from me.

Speaking of class hatred, you seem to have some form in that area....

Come now, we can't have uncultured, uneducated lower class people representing our nation.

Do other nations trawl their rough inner city estates for the most course of inhabitants to represent their government?   Of course they don't, but it would seem that many Labour voters think it's a grand idea.  People like Rayner are suited to menial tasks; falsely elevating somebody of her ilk (who would be better suited to using a mop) to such a senior position is farcical, but Labour has a history of doing this (Prescott and Abbott to name a couple).

I'd look at yourself and your own prejudices before judging me by your own standards.

Those of you who have worked in offices will be well aware of the dreaded office party, I did everything possible to avoid ours, but rarely succeeded. I named ours Pillocks in Party hats, folk who couldn’t stand the sight of each other pretending to me nice, and last but not least wearing bloody stupid party hats.

The pub is the place to have your gathering, on neutral ground, I appreciate that both the office and the pub are not currently very good ideas, but can you imagine a load of MP’s worse the wear for drink, wearing party hats?

Ironically, the last PM to have never been to University of any description was a Conservative. I'm sure that still doesn't tick the 'man of the people' box though, because he didn't spend his education in a coal mine or on a council estate.

This mob don’t know the meaning of the word, absolutely appalling what they’ve done to this country.

So why your fascination and repeated posting of issues relating to relative privilege and wealth of some members of Parliament?
