The Conservative Party - Part Two.

Do you not consider the pitiful results Labour had in the last General Election to be supporting evidence?

Meanwhile to answer your question, (which to be fair has been discussed on the Labour thread in more detail,) Boris very cleverly made the last election firmly about Brexit and not much else, and it bore very little relationship to what the country was feeling about the political parties.

Just shows people need to pay more attention to what's really going on....

Wonder if he’s feeling buyers remorse about this one?

Although the money he chucked at her was ours.

Its amusing to see even the DM starting to distance themselves from Boris.  Hope the Tories have got a replacement in the wings.

Boris makes a pig's ear of it: PM loses his train of thought in car-crash speech to business chiefs praising Peppa Pig World, comparing himself to MOSES, doing an impression of an ENGINE, and saying 'mother nature' doesn't like WFH

It certainly tailed off towards the end.🤣 The interesting part - the rehashed 10 point plan - is at around 20 minutes.

He might well be on his last legs, at least until David Frost has done what's necessary.

Interesting and frankly quite scary video when you put everything together.

MPs and second jobs

Mps and lobbying

Anybody with the money can buy power and influence and become a lord etc

MPs with short government career ideas, then onto other jobs

Mps such as Geoffrey Cox can be paid a lot of money to defend people / companies / Countries over seas against the UK

Closing down avenues for independent watchdogs and journalism about the above.

sounds like none of it can be in this countries peoples best interests :(

Just seen Boris’s speach to business leaders on the news. It’s genuinely scary that this bumbling idiot is in charge of the country.

A couple of months ago Johnson made a speech to the UN where he was prattling on about Kermit the Frog.

God knows what other countries make of the people of this country for having a fool like this in charge.

He is our fool , other countries have their own fools

I prefer Pete and Duds version:

"They have their soul singers, we have our soul singers!" :P
