Leading brexiteer and Tory MP, amongst other things,  Andrew Bridgen has sought to blame Tony Blair for the shortage of lorry drivers

Writing in the Express in a column entitled “Blair’s university drive is real reason behind HGV drivers shortage”the MP claimed that by encouraging people to go to university and by advocating “loose migration policies”, Blair undervalued vocational jobs leading to shortages years later.

So long as you pay for them yourself out of your own money no one cares how many children you have. Starting/growing a family whilst on benefits is what irks most people.

Does this irk you?

Yes I know it’s a couple of years old but the fact that some MPs claim thousands for ‘dependent children’ who are 18 or older, or who are off studying at university must have steam coming out of your tabs.

Only because the "electorate" are so far up BoJo the Clown's bum it's not funny!  :loopy:

On the Labour party thread there is a notice on the first page from a moderator warning people against using terms like Smarmer instead of Starmer, etc. There is no such notice on this thread warning against using terms like BoJo the clown etc. Funny that. 🙄

I thought that was part of Johnson's appeal - playing the fool, making jokes about covid etc....

You can't have it both ways

Being relaxed about using derogatory terms at Conservative leaders but not Labour ones,  along with the "consequences" of Brexit, a thread seemingly started by a moderator, it is clear that this forum has a built in bias.

Jeremy Corbyn has often been referred to as “Compo” and “Steptoe” on here.

Does shagging Jennifer Arcuri at the expense of the British taxpayer fall under that category ?

Well, it's an open forum.

Have a look at the Labour Party thread - parts 1 and 2.

Had Britain a Labour government having to manage a pandemic, you can be sure that the Labour Party thread would be full gloating from Tory supporters, so much so that it would be already on part 4.

With Brexit yielding nothing but trouble, the consequences of austerity painfully clear, and the catalogue of errors and misjudgments that have placed Britain amongst the countries with the highest death rates from COVID 19; that the Conservative Party thread has only one part says much.

The Conservative party thread also has 2 parts, with more posts, but facts dont seem to matter to Tories!
