petemcewan   27 #4273 Posted February 27, 2021 Thirst Relic , Based on what I know. If a combined Flu and Cov-19 mRNA vaccine is offered next winter, I would have the vaccination.
 Share this content via...

OK Pete - will consider it. More surprised at the lack of publicity about the 3rd vaccine we're all being lined up for in the Autumn to be honest. francypants   441 #4276 Posted February 27, 2021 Had my Covid vaccine this afternoon in Barnsley.  Very efficient, in and out in 20 mins which included a 15 minute sit down afterwards.
 Share this content via...

Thankyou!  I don't live alone thankfully. It's nothing major, a few aches and pains and a headache and feeling a bit rough. No cough, no change in taste, or temperature so not worried. But I thought I'd feel superhuman and be able to pick up WiFi with Bill Gates chip by now!  For balance though, my Mum (79) had the AZ jab at the end of January and had absolutely zero side effects, not even a sore arm. That comes for many with the second jab for some people in tests - the rest are expected to get that capability with the 3rd jab. Still, we'll all have got it by Xmas. Expect announcements from Microsoft/Government in due course. petemcewan   27 #4284 Posted February 28, 2021 Thirsty Relic. Moderna and Pfizer are working at modifying their vaccines so that they give protection against variants.  Pfizer has said it's exploring adding a 3rd booster shot that specially targets the SA variant.
 Share this content via...
