Question for you, and the other pro suppressionists on here, is Mike Buckley right ?

I would assume he was being hyperbolic. It's quite common for people to say things like 'we will do everything possible to ...' or 'we will spare no expense to ...' .  You are making a mistake to interpret such statements literally especially in the political sphere.

You have the ability to selectively read what you want to make your point.

You have the ability to selectively quote what you want to make your point.

But you seem to have an unending ability to extrapolate nonsense as exemplified.

If it was a question it would be valid as you would be seeking an explanation.

So we can agree that the vaccinated are spreading the new variant?

[Jenny Harries] the former deputy chief medical officer for England told BBC Radio 4’s Today programme.

“So I think being careful, not socialising when we don’t particularly need to and particularly going and getting those booster jabs.”

Boris Johnson rejects health official’s advice to reduce festive socialising | Coronavirus | The Guardian

Jenny Harries was the one who I heard say, in the Coronavisru briefing from 10 Downing St (In late March 2020) :

"This virus is indiscriminate"

Hence you will understand why I will be taking absolutely no notice of her advice at all.

Today’s bulletin.

Co Op  Stannington. 6 customers in the shop .All wearing a mask = 100% compliance.

Like I said in an earlier post I don't care how many wear them, I won't be, its mostly peer pressure or otherwise why would someone feel safe not to wear one on Monday but not two days later, I don't wear them because they don't work and the mandate is totally ridiculous.

No, that is what he said (on Talk Radio to Mark Dolan) and he put it into numbers. I even E Mailed him and asked him to confirm that is exactly what he meant but he declined to answer me. Thus I am correct in using his quote as often as I want

But you still haven't answered the question, assuming he meant that literally, do YOU agree with him ? Yes, or No ?

Jenny Harries also told us, in a press briefing early in the epidemic, there was no general problem with PPE. A week later, when further widespread problems had emerged, she said she had been being hopeful. She is a liar ... so they promoted her.

Some people have worn one consistently. Some have now reverted to wearing them.

Some may wear one against their better judgement to go about their work or pleasure.

Thats about the size of it.Certainly no need to disparage those who are wearing one.

Oh, what a day!

I popped into the supermarket and was about to step inside when I realised . . . I have to wear a mask now, don't I!

Fortunately, I still had a used mask I'd left in the car from the summer . . . and it still looked clean so after a bit of shake, I put on the mask and went inside.

Many of the staff weren't wearing masks . . . but most of the customers were.

Daft thing is, the item I wanted to buy from the market wasn't even on offer anymore 🙄

Bloody waste of a journey, that!

Like I said I'm fine with people wearing it's their choice, they are useless though, I just don't see how anyone can think they need to know but didn't on Monday.

You don't have to, no.

I went into three places on Saturday out of the three the least contact I had with anyone else was in a supermarket, had that been this weekend that's the only one of the three where a mask is mandated, totally nonsensical.

No argument in principal but slightly disagree with your absolute assertion that they don’t work.At the outset doctors and hospital staff could not source the high grade PPE that they thought was essential.

The WHO and U.K. government then doubted their efficacy (perhaps to minimise public competition)

We then went through the make your own masks,or buy a bit of cloth with elastic on as produced by opportunistic concerns with connections.

A total scam.

It is now possible to purchase the FFP 2 and 3 masks ,at a price and if infection is down to a viral load perhaps they can have some benefit

I see the comedy turn is back😂
