You're blaming the lockdowns for the damage. The problem is that had we not had lockdowns the damage would have been worse. In other words, having lockdowns reduced the damage. You have things upside down.

But the hospitals were overwhelmed with Covid patients. You do know the NHS hasn't got a box full of trained medical staff that they can just get out every now and then when they need to yeah?

 

Get used to covid injections fella or take your chances, but don't stigmatise people who do choose to have them.

Lockdowns were fantastic, 12 million people missed vital screenings, cancer is on a huge increase but its ok  due to them but we stopped a few people being ill for a few days so thats fine.

Every time that restrictions tightened within a couple of weeks hospitals began to recover capacity. Lockdowns led to increased healthcare capacity. It's the opposite of what you are arguing.

 

When the lockdowns came, the hospitals were not struggling to cope with people with covid who were well but people who had covid and were sick.

But it was, the NHS was grossly understaffed before covid. When covid hit, what little "spare" resources that were available for cancer screening etc, then became tied up with covid. Do you not even slightly realise that?

Absolutely. It's not like we had a situation where NHS staff were so bored at having nothing to do in the mainly empty hospitals [with patients desperatly needing cancer screenings/treatment prevented from entering] that thousands of staff spent many hours practising dance routines to post on Tiktok, is it?

Hours practicing? Really? 😂

 

The ward a friend of mine works on did one, they all came in half an hour  before their night shift started to practise and film it.

 

Do you honestly believe staff were abandoning their patients to go and dance in the corridors?
