Based on his own personal experience, he would probably guess in the hundreds of thousands. Let's not blow his mind by trying to communicate the true figure.

I was going for 290.

That’s a good working number for a primary school, + trip to Aldi.

Although, I might have to refine my estimate, because I’d totally forgotten his career as a supermarket  inspector.

You do know how many people there are in the world.

Don’t you?

We had about 200,000 protesting in France on Saturday.

The population is about 65,000,000 - so that makes it way less than 1%.

1% of the most bolshy nation on Earth.

Terrifying.

BTW, I’m very pleased that I’ll soon be able to return to France. Thinking of a trip to the south west in September.

He’s got a Bonnie Tyler record though.

Does that count for anything?

About a third of one percent........................

Hopefully we can visit the UK for the first time in 18 months so our lass can see her sister and 92 year old mother - and of course so we can see our kids. Be kinda happy to have a few decent pints, proper fish and chips, pork pie and a curry from Rajputs on Commonside.

The bulk were protesting about the use of covid passports. Conspiraloons are few and far between -although we've one in our village fond of  painting "covidocracie" / quasi marxist slogans here and there.  4G is being rolled out to most parts of France at the moment so the Piers Corbyn theory has zero traction. The anarchists are always up for summat.

Fuel prices are now higher than when the Gilets Jaunes were protesting a couple of years ago.

Masks are still worn by 99% of the people round here  (Dordogne) - still an overwhelmingly socialist department due to the large number of employees of co-operatives - and memories of the resistance.

We look after each other - I protect you, you protect me is our version of hands, knees and bumps a daisy.

Someone admitted to a hospital with a very serious life threatening illness who then contracts Covid in the hospital is not and never will be a Covid death, they'll be added to the stats though, total sham.

What are your views on Midazolam and jabbing U16's without consent?

How do you know cause of death in that situation?  Were you there? Do you have medical qualifications and can certify death and cause of death?

It's possible to be admitted with one serious illness, to then contract Covid and for that to be the actual cause of death, perhaps with the other serious illness as contributing factor.
