In the same way as me finding 1 person on SSP with long covid.

It's anecdotal,it means nothing.

See the thing is ,there's no " might" about what I said.

As to long covid being " invented by people fancy wanting a break"

That's a whole different level of ignorance.

That doesn't make it nonsense, the places in this article were identified as Covid hotspots, unless the headmistress of the school I was at is a liar they've had virtually no cases, I was at another school of 600 pupils a few weeks before and one with 300 pupils the same week - all with minimal cases.

The report (from a media that has bigged this up all along) names three places, did the NUT just mean those?

They implied that it was going to be armageddon if teachers returned, they also predicted infection rates would rise in general once schools were back, guess what, they didn't.

But they're going up now in hot spots and those hot spots are spreading

Life is full of risks, we have to get away from this nanny state mentality where we have to wait for the government to tell us our every move. If you are vulnerable then you have to assess where you are safe to go or leave a place if you do feel unsafe.

I think long Covid was invented by people on full sick pay that want an extended break.

I really wish that was true...
