Runningman
I recently bought a pack of screws, but didn't notice they were designed for use on MDF Although I have a large range of Ferrules, none of them fit the head of the screws purchased On the pack the Ferrule head is marked as TX Where could I obtain the Ferrule required without having to buy a whole set of different sizes ? forgeman
Tx denotes the head is Torx which is a trade mark and made under license. These come in a variety of sizes from Tx5 the smallest to Tx60 the largest. If your screws are all the same head size I suggest you take one with you to buy the correct size. These can be purchased from Wickes but would less expensive at Toolstation. Hope this helps.

RJRB
Just a thought.....if you identify the size that you need for a one off job you will be better buying the 3 pack of one size for £2.
choogling
If you look closely at the screw heads you may see a pin in the middle where the bit fits they are a tamperproof version .
