Clicking Knee

I am having discomfort with my right knee.

Both knees click when I bend, not everytime.  I have been taking ibruprofen for ten days, because if I go to see the doctor, I am sure that is what he will tell me to do.

So maybe I should go and see him/her next week. I am thinking its arthritis related. I believe they will actually see patients, in person.

I recall a work colleague had his kneecap scraped to be made smoother, not sure if it worked, or not.

I have been physically active in the past, but this certainly stops that, even the dog pulling on the lead can be uncomfortable.

I agree. Could be anything. Knees are complicated. You need professional medical advice.

It clicks when I kneel down, standing up - I would miss the pot

If he is owt like our doctor, its a perscription for paracetamol everything  including Black plague it  was ever to submerge.

Sounds like osteoarthritis to me.I would try and get an appointment with your GP because if you have to be referred to hospital there is a very long waiting list now with the Coronavirus.

I found Revitive, a massager that  you put your feet on, very helpful.

I have osteoarthritis and my GP referred me to a physiotherapist at Concord Sports Centre. It hasn't gone away but they gave me some exercises which go some way to alleviate the pain.

Don't wrap the lead round your knee - hold it in your hand.

I too have trouble with my knees........hips and back. I don’t know your circumstances El Cid but the Yorkshire diagnosis for my troubles is owd age and poverty. I’d pray for you but don’t think I’d get up again. Seriously -consult your doctor !
