NERVY-OWL Â Â 183 #1 Posted June 24, 2020 Not surprising tbh, Fletcher wasn't worth paying his 30k wages for along with FF. Was hoping we could talk fox round but not to be.
 Share this content via...
owl.66   189 #2 Posted June 24, 2020 Fletcher ,FF injured alot & Fletcher only lasted 5 mins sat & Fox yes to an extent started to come good but before pretty mediocre at the beginning.
 Share this content via...
NERVY-OWL Â Â 183 #3 Posted June 24, 2020 Yes it would of been good if they had hung around for the run in but Fletcher might of been injured for most of it. Still nearly 60k a week in wages saved so hopefully get some decent replacements in
 Share this content via...
bassett one   440 #4 Posted June 24, 2020 trouble is we cant because we need to cut wages,so only part of it will be there to spend,i think we should build a team round Rhodes, but I expect him to go cheap to Norwich as they said how great he was in there league win,and as they are coming back down he will be top of there list,so we need to build a new squad, except goalkeepers, possibly buy wickham? NERVY-OWL Â Â 183 #5 Posted June 24, 2020 Rhodes needs to be gone aswell, another high earner but might have no choice but to use him unfortunately. We won't get all the wages for new players but we will be able to use some of it, need to get some young, hungry players in
 Share this content via...
bassett one   440 #6 Posted June 24, 2020 bang on with that, young hungry players,on loan ,plus mix older when times get hard,or what about going the wolves way that was top class and gives you premier players when you go up. iansheff   83 #7 Posted June 25, 2020 (edited) Liked FF but in hindsight they should have got rid of him after the first season when he wouldn't play at Norwich, no player is bigger than the club they play for. bassett one   440 #8 Posted June 25, 2020 why with all these players gone, dont we go the wolves way,no contracts over a year or loans unless you get promotion, its worked for them, what do others think?
 Share this content via...
staninoodle   168 #9 Posted June 26, 2020 Fox has done some pretty straight talking about his treatment from the fans over his time here,so like I said a few months ago,he was off when his contract was up. Not sure how true the rumours are but it seems the other two were offered contracts @ 70 % below their current deals,so around 8.5K a week for Fletcher and 10K FF,both feel theyl get better elsewhere and are free to leave, and with Burokov also gone we look a touch light upfront now. So we must await the outcome of the FFP hearing to asses the future budget depending on which division we are in,although it maybe FFP will get suspended for the comming season due to covid.so its all up in the air.
