Bring on that point deduction EFL!! Cheats shouldn't prosper!!....how can  team who create fake companies as sponsors, plead to be innocent?

Make an example of them and deter others.

They will be punished, but you said team and that is wrong, the team has not cheated, the man who owns the club is wholly responsible for this mess, and has brought the name of the club into disrepute, the team has failed on the pitch, but the owner has messed up the club, probably with misguided good intentions though. The supporters don't deserve what's probably going to happen, they certainly haven't deserved the poor performances either, many of them have been loyal to Wednesday for a long time and seen little in return since dropping out of the Premier League twenty years ago, there are plenty of club owners and chairmen who try to work the loopholes of ffp etc, so being so self righteous is a bit rich, your bitter bias seems to be getting the better of your senses fella, enjoy your venture in Eur ... 'oh dear' sorry, and UTO !

It would be refreshing to see Wednesdayites coming on here and start showing some embarrassment regarding Mr Chansiri's incompetent actions.

All we hear is how badly he's been advised.

If he hasn't embarrassed his own club he certainly has embarrassed the city of Sheffield.

Thank goodness those at S2 have at least re-dressed the balance.

Only if we are found guilty, there has been no verdict announced yet. It's alright the like of cmonkes coming on here saying cheats should be punished, well we will be if that's the case and I don't think you'd find many owl's who would complain.

Lot's of things would be refreshing to see on here, but why you think that Wednesdayites should be embarrassed I'm not sure, there is a lot of anger, disappointment and frustration at what's happened in the last 3 seasons but it's not the end of the world, and only time will tell if such nonsense ever happens down at the cricket ground, the game itself needs to take a long hard look at itself !

i agree with that completely ,the trouble is if he was running SWFC,like a normal company ,if he lost ten million every year,so what,if he can afford it,it would be nobody business except his,but for reasons agreed by the FA,he cannot run it like a normal business, invest and invest until he gets us in the premier league, with a great side that would just need a few new additions, wolves got it spot on,norwich didnt want to spend,so as they run a carefull small club have come down, but if hes done wrong or not ,its not that hes not a great top business man,its because they wont let him spend HIS hard earned cash as he sees fit ,for our club, maybe with hindsight he should of got a top adviser and a top manager, steve bruce was tops, but sadly it was our bad luck that the only job he would leave for came vacant.theres is one worry are accounts late ,even taking into account the extra weeks of grace?

Barnsley are having a little dig according to this piece?

I'm guessing that they reckoned SWFC should have already received a points deduction & that would have made their lives a lot easier?

Seems like Owls have been hung drawn and quartered before the announcement of the decision. Next season’s pre match motivational team talk already sorted.

what makes it worse is monk today in the star stated he cannot buy players ect until he knows where the club stands, this is simular to play off clubs ,when its sorted all the others have had the pick of the crop so to speak, what a mess.
