Any Charity Shops In Sheffield Take Old Lps?

Recommended Posts

Doing a clearout, figure it's finally time to get rid of 100+ old vinyl LP albums.

Do I just put them in the black bin (after recycling the cardboard covers)? Or is there a charity shop that would take them?

Anyone else go through this? Feels terrible getting rid of these old friends, but truth is I don't think I'll ever play them again.

I would have thought all charity shops would take them.

I’m going on a charity shop hunt later as during the lockdown we sorted the loft and have several bags of old children’s toys and clothes that we’ve sorted out and are no longer needed. I’ll ask whilst I’m in and let you know which one takes them.  Which area of Sheffield are you from?

I’ll be heading down Hillsborough way

Ah the loft feels a lot lighter now lol..

Record Collector at Broomhill will take any they think saleable and it's up to you to donate any money received. I think one of the charity shops round the corner at the bottom of Crookes Road took the rest of ours or it could have been Oxfam further up Fulwood Road. Worth ringing them for clarity.
