New Wifi Standard - Ax (Wifi 6)

Recommended Posts

Was browsing on ebuyer after the post about mesh systems and noticed that some routers now on sale are offering the 'ax' (as opposed to 'ac') wifi standard - will this mean that some notebooks with built-in wifi would no longer work with such a router or will it be like it is now with all the different bands currently available?

Surely they are not merely 'ax', but like others also offer earlier standards? Or am I missing something?

And they would still have 'n' as well, if not g/n?
