Hi everyone,

   My name is Steve and I am working on a project destined to serve the people of Sheffield and South Yorkshire. The project has a small volunteering team in place at present, but we are needing to add to the team. Several key roles are available now along with a variety of casual ones. All posts are on a volunteer basis and unpaid.

Project Outline.

We have worked on a double decker bus for several years to allow it to be used within our communities. Groups we would like to initially help would be senior citizens, young people, and vulnerable groups also.

 

The bus has had extensive conversions. These include kitchen, bathroom, central heat and has its own computer network also. We do have a few outstanding tasks that will need to be completed before we are ready for the city.

These are …

1.New external paint.

2.Refix new exhaust to engine.

3. IT service.

4.Road test.

 

Conclusion.

We need people who have enthusiasm and who wish to make a difference to society.

We would like people to volunteer for the following roles….

1.       Trustee positions including development, fundraisers, and treasurer volunteers.

2.       HGV / Bus mechanics / Driver volunteers.

3.       Maintenance volunteers.

4.       Community day interventions volunteers.

5.       Health and safety volunteers.

 

We just need a final push to deliver this worthy project for the city. If you wish to look at some of the mentioned role or just wish to roll your sleeves up and help then call or text your contact details to Steve (project co Ordinator). We then hope to hold a zoom meeting to chat about a suitable plan for the near future. We are looking at interested parties only at this stage.

We are also looking for a suitable indoor area within the city to store the bus.
