*Wallace*   333 #2 Posted May 30, 2020 Pretty sure you need a special drill bit and a good drill as for the suction things I’ve never found one that really works.
 Share this content via...

Not on hammer, and steady away until you're through the tile.  I have a basket which hangs around the shower mixer tap. Those suction cup ones are rubbish in my experience.
 Share this content via...

I was using a cordless and TBH, can't remember if I left hammer switched on. The key is slow and steady. Rush it and chances are you'll crack a tile...I know I have in the past. Pyrotequila   402 #6 Posted May 30, 2020 We've got one of those Stick 'n Lock baskets in the bathroom, and the other half masses of hair products in it, some large heavy bottles. It has been securely stuck to the tiles for about 3 years now, no sign of movement.
 Share this content via...
bungleboy69   101 #7 Posted May 30, 2020 I like the spear-headed tungsten-carbide tipped bits. They're not particularly expensive and make light work of a sometimes tricky task.
 Share this content via...

This is exactly the way to do it, it can burn the drill bit out particularly on quarry tiles but with wall tiles its fine.
