Spacex launch

Recommended Posts

SpaceX is launching a Falcon 9 rocket at 9.33pm with 2 astronauts in, first launch with humans from the USA in 8 years I think.

Weather permitting it should be visible from here about 15 minutes later in a South Westerly direction.

Live streaming of the launch is now on Youtube on the NASA channel.

Bad weather over the launch pad has scrubbed the mission. Think it might be re-arranged for Saturday (according to the Independent)

They're talking about a launch at 3.22 EST (so 8.22 here I think) on Saturday - not sure how visible it will be as it will still be bright at that time of day.
