Speed Of Computer Monitor

Recommended Posts

Is a speed of 1mS of any advantage over a speed of 5mS in a computer monitor that's used for general online work?

Have you googled it ....it’s not the only variable....

you won't really notice a difference between 1ms and 5ms if you are just using it for general use...

Really only when gaming, or working with fast moving/lots of moving objects that you need to worry...

even then, 5ms is generally fine! :)

there's a real rabbit hole you can go down to when talking about response time, but generally 5ms or below is fine for general use!

Thanks Alarmingmark and Ghozer. That's good to know. I know something about the other variables but wasn't sure about this one. It affects which monitor I'm about to buy.
