I want to buy my house and want a single story extension the measurements are 5.8m long x 2 m depth x 3 m high do I need planning permission

Yes, maybe. And building regulations approval.

No it doesn’t have existing extension

If it's at the rear of the property, an extension of that size does not need planning permission.
